We are looking to connect, build relationships, and partner with second chance employers, social service agencies, non profit organizations, and community members in Beaufort, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Spartanburg, and local surrounding areas to work with Project LPP, helping to build a bridge over the barriers to successful re-entry. EMPLOYERS: We work directly with incarcerated men and women before their release, preparing them not just to find employment, but to sustain it and grow within it. By engaging participants early, we help ensure they enter the workforce with the mindset, skills, and accountability that employers value.
Our multidisciplinary board—comprised of life coaches, workforce development professionals, educators, and small business owners—brings deep expertise to the evaluation and preparation of each participant. We take a holistic approach, assessing personal history, current mindset, workplace readiness, team dynamics, and technical skills, while identifying any additional supports needed for long-term success. This intentional process allows us to align each individual’s strengths with meaningful employment pathways.
Through structured workshops, individualized mentoring, and career exposure, participants gain practical tools alongside real-world insight from professionals across industries. These experiences build confidence, strengthen emotional intelligence, and expand career vision—key factors that contribute to employee retention and workplace success.
We also cultivate strategic partnerships with local employers to create hiring opportunities that match participant skills and business needs. For employers, this means access to a prepared, motivated, and supported talent pipeline. For participants, it provides a credible first step toward stability, self-sufficiency, and upward mobility. Project LPP is committed to moving beyond temporary solutions. Rather than placing a bandage on a systemic challenge, we proactively address the barriers that often lead to recidivism. Our goal is clear: that every man leaves incarceration mentally resilient, emotionally grounded, and ready to contribute—entering the workforce as a dependable employee and returning to the community with purpose.
