Project LPP’s prison reentry readiness program prepares inmates for success long before they walk out the gate. We focus on strengthening both mindset and character—helping participants develop emotional intelligence, accountability, and a renewed sense of purpose. Through guided reflection, practical life skills, and personal growth training, we equip individuals to make better decisions, build healthier relationships, pursue meaningful opportunities, and be employment willing and ready.
When individuals leave our program; they're leaving prison, they don’t just reenter society—they return with the confidence, resilience, and heart needed to create a better future for themselves, their families,
and their communities.
Personal Accountability, Mindset Change, and Growth
We help program participants identify key traits to develop before release, with a strong focus on personal growth. The goal is to strengthen essential skills such as interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving, all while building the confidence to embrace the man they aspire to become.
Community Support
Recognizing the importance of community, our program offers mentorship opportunities for participants striving for successful re-entry. Participants will receive guidance, support, and encouragement to help them stay focused and on track.
Job Readiness and Placement
Our program covers essential topics such as interview techniques, being a team player, attitude, mindset, and personal and workplace etiquette. Our comprehensive approach ensures that each participant is equipped with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce.
Additional Resources
Through partnerships with other nonprofits and businesses that offer a range of valuable resources—including housing support, vocational rehabilitation and training, individual and group counseling, food assistance, volunteer opportunities, and access to GED and college courses—we empower our participants to recognize their full potential to lead fulfilling lives.
Our program addresses the complex challenges of recidivism and successful reentry with a model intentionally designed to be clear, structured, and results-oriented.
By focusing on practical strategies and measurable outcomes, we equip participants with the tools needed to transition successfully back into their communities.
If you are on the other side of release, but finding it difficult to find gainful employment, remember that you're not alone, and there are resources available to help you succeed. Project LPP will assist by connecting you to job training, resume preparation, sharpening interview skills, and viable job leads.
